မေန႔ကအထိ ရရွိေသာ သတင္းမ်ားအရ ႏိုင္ငံေရး အက်ဥ္းသား ၁၁၀ အထိ ရွိသြားၿပီ ဟု AAPP ၏ ထုတ္ျပန္ခ်က္မ်ားအရ သိရပါသည္။ ယေန႔လြတ္ေျမာက္လာသူမ်ားထဲတြင္ ထင္ရွားေသာ သရုပ္ေဆာင္ ႏွင့္ နာဂစ္ကယ္ဆယ္ေရးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားလုပ္ေဆာင္ ခဲ့သူ ကိုဇာဂနာ လြတ္ေျမာက္လာၿပီဟု သိရပါသည္။
နာဂစ္ ကူညီေရးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားကို တက္ႀကြစြာေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့ၿပီး ၄င္း၏ ျပတ္သားထိေရာက္စြာ ေဝဖန္ ေျပာဆိုမႈမ်ားေၾကာင့္ အီလက္ထေရာနစ္အက္ဥပေဒ၊ ႏိုင္ငံေတာ္ လံုျခံဳေရးႏွင့္ ဗီဒီယို အက္ဥပေဒမ်ားျဖင့္ အမႈဆင္ကာ ေထာင္ဒဏ္ ၄၅ ႏွစ္ ခ်မွတ္ျခင္းခံခဲ့ရပါသည္။
ကိုဇာဂနာႏွင့္အတူ အမႈတြဲ ျဖစ္ေသာ ကိုေဇာ္သက္ေထြး ႏွင့္ အျခားသူမ်ားလည္းပါသည္ဟုသိရပါသည္။
AAPP ၏ ေနာက္ဆံုး ထုတ္ျပန္ခ်က္စာရင္းကိုပါ ပူးတြဲေဖၚျပလိုက္ပါသည္။

At least 110 political prisoners released

The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (Burma) (AAPP) can confirm that so far 110 political prisoners have been released from 23 different prisons in Burma.

The 110 released include 38 members of the National League for Democracy, including 3 MPs; 20 women; 11 former political prisoners; 4 monks; 4 journalists; 10 members of the Human Rights Defenders and Promoters Network; 6 members of the 88 Generation Students; and 1 lawyer.

On the evening of September 17, 2009 in Rangoon, state-run MRTV carried a news bulletin announcing that 7,114 prisoners were to be released “on humanitarian grounds.”
