ဆင္းရဲမွဳေတြကို ဖုံးကြယ္တာထက္ ျပည္သူေတြ ဆင္းရဲမွဳတြင္းက လြတ္ကင္းေအာင္ တိုင္းျပည္အုပ္ခ်ဴပ္ မင္းလုပ္သူေတြက ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ႀကည့္ရွဴျပီး ကယ္တင္ေပးရမယ္၊ လူမွဳဘ၀ဖူလုံေရးလုပ္ငန္းေတြ၊ အေျခခံ လူတန္းစားေတြ ရသင့္ ရထိုက္တဲ့ ခံစားခြင့္ေတြ ရဖို ့ကို ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးရမယ္။

တိုင္းသူျပည္သားေတြ ဘာေႀကာင့္ ဆင္းရဲဒုကၡေရာက္ရသလည္းဆိုတာကို ေသခ်ာစြာ ဆန္းစစ္ႀကည့္ျပီး ဆင္းရဲသား ျပည္သူေတြရဲ ့ ဘ၀ေတြကို ေဖၚထုတ္ျပီး အမ်ားျပည္သူေတြ သိရွိရေအာင္ ျပသရမယ္။ ဒါမွသာ တိုင္းျပည္တျပည္ရဲ ့ အေျခအေနမွန္ကို သိသာထင္ရွားေစမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္။ ျပည္သူျပည္သားအခ်င္းခ်င္းလည္း ဆင္းရဲဒုကၡ ေရာက္ေနသူေတြကို ၀ိုင္း၀န္းကူညီ ပံ့ပိုးႏိုင္ဖို ့ သိရွိႀကမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္။

ဆင္းရဲဒုကၡေရာက္ေနတာကို ဖုံးကြယ္ျပီး တိုင္းသူျပည္သားေတြ ဖူလုံႀကြယ္၀ေနပါတယ္လို ့ ဟန္ေဆာင္ျပေနလို ့ကေတာ့ တကယ္တမ္း ပိုျပီး ဆင္းရဲတြင္း နစ္သထက္နစ္မွာေပါ့။ ျမန္မာျပည္သူျပည္သားေတြမွာ တစ္ေန ့လုပ္စာ တစ္ေန ့မနည္း ရွာႀကံရုန္းကန္လွဳပ္ရွားေနတာတင္ မကဖူး၊ တစ္ေန ့ကို ထမင္းတစ္နပ္ မွန္ေအာင္ မစားႏိုင္ႀကတဲ့ ဆင္းရဲသူေတြ တစ္ပုံႀကီးပါ။

တိုင္းျပည္ကို မတရားအုပ္ခ်ဴပ္ေနတဲ့ နအဖေတြက တိုင္းသူျပည္သားေတြ ဆင္းရဲဒုကၡေရာက္ေနတာ လူမသိ ေစခ်င္ဖူးဆိုတာကိုက သူတို ့ရဲ ့ စီမံခန္ ့ခြဲမွဳ ညံ့ျဖင္းမွဳနဲ ့ တိုင္းျပည္ရဲ ့စီးပြားေရး ဘယ္ေလာက ္က်ဆင္းေနလည္း ဆိုတာကို မေပၚလြင္ေစခ်င္လို ့ ဖုံးကြယ္ထားခ်င္တာဘဲ။

ဆင္းရဲတာ ဘာမွ ရွက္စရာ မလိုပါဖူး။ အရွိကို အရွိအတိုင္း၊ အမွန္ကို အမွန္အတိုင္း တင္ျပရဲရမယ္။ ဒါဟာ တိုင္းျပည္ရဲ ့ ဂုဏ္သိကၡာညွဳိးႏြမ္းစရာ မဟုတ္ဖူး။ မတရားေသာနည္းလမ္းမ်ားနဲ ့ လာဘ္စားျပီး တိုင္းျပည္ပိုင္ ေငြေတြ သယံဇာတပစၥည္းေတြကို ခိုး၀ွက္ ဘုံးယူျပီး ႀကြယ္၀ခ်မ္းသာေနႀကတဲ့ နအဖအသိုင္းအ၀ိုင္း သူခိုးႀကီး ေတြေႀကာင့္သာ တိုင္းျပည္ရဲ ့ ဂုဏ္သိကၡာဟာ ကမၻာ့အလည္မွာ က်ဆင္းေနရတာ။

ရုပ္ရွင္အႏုပညာဆိုတာ တိုင္းျပည္ကို အက်ဳးိျပဳရတယ္။ တိုင္းျပည္ကို အက်ဳိးျပဳဖို ့အတြက္ တိုင္းသူျပည္သား ေတြရဲ ့ ဘ၀မွန္ကို ထင္ဟပ္ေစတဲ့ အျဖစ္အပ်က္ေတြကို ေဖၚက်ဴးျပသေပးရမယ္။ ဒါမွသာ အႏုပညာဟာ ျပည္သူ ့အတြက္ ျဖစ္မွာ။ ဒီဟာကို ဆင္းရဲသားကားေတြ ရိုက္ရင္ ဘာမေဖၚျပရဖူး၊ ဘယ္လို မေနထိုင္ရဖူး၊ ဘယ္လို မ၀တ္စားရဖူး၊ တိုင္းျပည္ဂုဏ္သိကၡာကို ထိခိုက္ေစမွာျဖစ္တယ္လို ့ ကန္ ့သတ္ပိတ္ပင္ေနတာဟာ နအဖေတြဟာ သူတို ့ အသုံးမက်တာကို ရွက္ျပီး၊ ကိုယ့္မ်က္ေခ်း ကိုယ့္ မျမင္ဘဲ အာဏာျပ ခ်ဴပ္ခ်ယ္တာျဖစ္တယ္။ ျမန္မာ ျပည္သူေတြရဲ ့ ဘ၀အမွန္ကို အမ်ားျပည္သူနဲ ့ ကမၻာက သိရင္ သူတို ့ကို ျပစ္တင္ရွဳတ္ခ်တာကို မခံရဲဘဲ ေႀကာက္ ေနတာ ျဖစ္တယ္။

တစ္ခ်ိန္တုန္းက ျပည္သူေတြအႀကိဳက္ လွ်မ္းလွ်မ္းေတာက္ ေအာင္ျမင္ခဲ့ႀကတဲ့ ျမန္မာရုပ္ရွင္ေတြ ျဖစ္ႀကတဲ့ ဂုဏ္ရည္မတူ၊ ဘယ္ပန္းခ်ီေရးလို႕မမွီ၊ ဘယ္သူၿပိဳင္လို႕လွပါေတာ႕နိဳင္၊ ပန္းၿမိဳင္လည္မွဥယ်ာဥ္မွဴး၊ ဘံုၿပတ္ ဘေမာင္၊ သဘင္သည္မ၀င္ရ၊ အေဖတခုသားတခုနဲ႔ မြန္းတည့္ခ်ိန္မွာေန၀င္သည္ ရုပ္ရွင္ကားေတြမွာ ဆင္းရဲသား လူတန္းစားေတြရဲ ့ ဘ၀မွန္ေတြကို ပီပီျပင္ျပင္ တင္ျပခဲ့ႀတလို ့ အမ်ားျပည္သူက လက္ခံအားေပးခဲ့ ႀကပါတယ္။

အခုေတာ့ နအဖေတြက ဆင္းရဲသားဇာတ္၀င္ခန္းေတြကို တားျမစ္တဲ့ လုပ္ေပါက္က “စိန္စီေသာည” လို နအဖ သန္းေရႊသမီး သႏၱာေရႊ မဂၤလာေဆာင္မွာ စိန္ေတြ ျပဴးေနေအာင္ ၀တ္ျပထားတာမ်ဳိး၊ ခ်စ္ႀကဳိက္ခန္း ေတြသာ ပါျပီး အခ်ဳိ ့ဇာတ္၀င္ခန္းေတြမွာ ဆိုရင္ ျမန္မာ့ယဥ္ေက်းမွဳကို ထိခိုက္ေစတဲ့ ေမာင္နဲ ့ႏွမ သားနဲ ့အမိအတူ မႀကည့္သင့္တဲ့ ရိုက္ခ်က္ေတြပါတဲ့ ရုပ္ရွင္ေတြ၊ ဟိုမလုံ ဒီမလုံနဲ ့ ၀တ္စားဆင္ယင္မွဳေတြပါတဲ ့ရုပ္ရွင္ကားေတြဘဲ ရိုက္ျပရ မလိုျဖစ္ေနျပီ။ ဒီလိုမ်ဳိး ရုပ္ရွင္ေတြႀကေတာ့ မတားမဆီး ဆင္ဆာမျဖတ္ဘဲ ဆင္းရဲသား ဇတ္၀င္ခန္း ေတြကို တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္တာကေတာ့ နအဖေတြ မေယာင္ရာ ဆီလူး ျဖစ္ေနတာပါ။

အင္တာနက္သတင္းစာမ်က္ႏွာေတြမွာ ျပည္တြင္းက အေျခအေနသတင္းေတြ တင္ျပေနတာနဲ႔ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ဦး စြာေျပာပါရေစ။ က်ေနာ့္ကို အျပင္က မီဒီယာတခုက မိတ္ေဆြတဦး ေျပာျပဖူးပါတယ္။ သူတို႔က လြတ္ေျမာက္ နယ္ေျမမွာ လုပ္ေနရတယ္ဆိုေပမယ့္ သူတို႔မွာလည္း အခက္အခဲရွိပါတယ္တဲ့။ အဲဒါက သတင္းရင္းျမစ္ (sources) ရွာရျခင္းပါတဲ့။ သတင္းကို အတည္ျပဳေပးႏိုင္ဖို႔ လူလိုအပ္ပါတယ္တဲ့။ သတင္းအတည္ျဖစ္ဖို႔ လွည့္ ေမးရတာ တခါတခါ စိတ္ညစ္စရာလို႔ ဆိုပါတယ္။ ျပည္တြင္းမွာ လုပ္ေနရတဲ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔ေတြမွာလည္း ဖိအား

အဲဒီမွာ တခါတခါ သူတို႔ေတြ သတင္းကို ပိုမိုတန္ဖိုးရွိလိုတဲ့အေနနဲ႔ေရာ ဒီသတင္းဟာ ဘယ္ေလာက္ခိုင္မာမွန္ ကန္တယ္ဆိုတာ ျပခ်င္တာေတြေလာသြားၿပီး ေစာင့္ထိန္းရမယ့္ အေျခခံက်င့္၀တ္ေတြကေန လြတ္သြားတာ ေတြရွိေနတယ္လို႔ က်ေနာ္အေနနဲ႔ျမင္မိေၾကာင္း ေ၀ဖန္ေထာက္ျပျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ တခ်ဳိ႕အင္တာနက္မီဒီယာေတြ က သတင္းဦးသတင္းထူးၿပီးေရာဆိုၿပီး မေသခ်ာေသးတဲ့ အေျခအေနသတင္းေတြ တင္ၾကတာေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ဆက္တြဲ အက်ိဳးဆက္က ျပည္တြင္းကသူေတြ ဒုကၡေရာက္ရတာပါပဲ။

Lt-Col Nay Soe Maung, retired army doctor and presently serves as a lecturer at the University of Public Health, Ministry of Health. He is son in law of Burma's most notorious dictator General Than Shwe and son of retired Major General Tin Sein.

All above credentials are more than enough for him to earn special privileges above others as now he is preparing to go to Harvard University. Accompanying him is Dr. Tin Min, Rector of same department and now they are preparing necessary documents to apply visa in US Embassy, Yangon. We wonder whether US Embassy and Government have no knowledge of their back ground or just ignore to please the junta and dictator of the most human rights abuser.

Lt-Col Nay Soe Maung is the father of notorious Nay Shwe Thway Aung (a) Pho La Pyae and husband of Kyi Kyi Shwe (a) Ma Aw. Now Kyi Kyi Shwe is the preferred mistress of Tay Za ( Htoo Trading and AirBagan ). Nay Soe Maung is also famous for his homosexual activity and he is openly declaring his status as gay. With all that good reputation, he will represent Burma and grab a chance to study in Harvard with help from the US Government.

WHO helps Myanmar treat leprosy disease in N division

YANGON, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- The World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations is helping Myanmar cure nearly 600 leprosy patients in the country's northern Mandalay division annually, sources with the anti-leprosy authorities said on Sunday.

Mandalay division is a tropical region where infectious leprosy virus Myeo Bacterium can spread easily, medical experts were quoted by the weekly Voice as saying.

Myanmar has implemented anti-leprosy campaign for over half a century since 1952, introducing Multi Drug Therapy (MDT) in 1986 for treatment recommended by the WHO and paving way for the eradication of leprosy with integrated services expanding to more areas in the country.

Myanmar was once regarded as one of the countries where leprosy prevalence was high.

Due to decades' efforts in leprosy eradication, especially some measures taken by the government after the Third Meeting of Global Alliance for Elimination of Leprosy in 2003, the prevalent rate in Myanmar declined to 0.47 patient per 10,000 population at the end of 2006 from 0.6 per 10,000 population in 2003, according to official figures.

The figures also showed that over 260,000 cases were treated and cured between 1988 and 2005.
